Munkh Khairkhan Mountain

At 4,362m, Munkh Khairkhan Uul Mountain is the second highest mountain in Mongolia. You can walk up to the peak if you approach from the north side. There is plenty of snow and ice on the top, so you need crampons, an ice axe and rope but the climb does not need a professional climbing skill. The peak is known as Tavan Khumit in the local area.

It is land of wild animals, Mongolian wolf, lynx, Ibex and many others. A lot of things to see in 15th century cave arts. Tourists stay here 2 days and have walking tour.
